This site is operated by NDL Studios, a sole operator business based in Aurora, Ontario, Canada. Using the site or submitting the order form means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not place an order.
NFC review cards, referred to as Tapcards, along with other advertising and print services. A Tapcard is a printed 4x6 card with an NFC tag and a QR code, programmed to open a web address you choose, usually your Google review page.
Submitting the form is a request, not a completed purchase. No contract exists until I reply confirming your order and the total, and you approve the proof. Until that point either of us can walk away with nothing owed.
I may decline an order, for example if the artwork is not something I can print, if the destination link is unlawful, or if I cannot verify that the business is yours.
Prices shown on this site are in Canadian dollars. The intro price of $39 per card is a limited time price and can end at any point, with the regular price being $49 per card. The price that applies to you is the one I confirm in writing when I accept your order. Applicable taxes and any shipping cost are added and shown before you pay.
You get a proof before anything is printed. It is your job to check the spelling, the wording, the phone number, and the destination link. Once you approve a proof, production goes ahead on what you approved, and errors you signed off on are not covered by a free reprint.
You agree not to use a card to send people to anything unlawful, deceptive, or harmful.
A Tapcard makes it easier for a customer to reach your review page. It does not write reviews, generate reviews, or promise any number of them. I do not offer incentives for reviews and you should not either, since that breaks Google's policies and can cost you your listing. Nothing here promises a particular star rating, review count, or position in search or map results.
Cards depend on services I do not run. Google can change its review links or policies. Phone makers can change how NFC behaves. Some older phones have no NFC at all, which is why every card carries a QR code as well. Where a change on their end breaks a card, I will help you sort it out, but I cannot be held responsible for their decisions.
Timelines I give are estimates in good faith, not guarantees. If something is going to be late, I will tell you.
You keep the rights to your own logo, artwork, and business name. Any design work I create for your card remains mine until the order is paid in full, at which point you may use the finished card design for your own business.
To the extent the law allows, my total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost business or lost reviews. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under Ontario consumer protection law, and where those rights conflict with these terms, the law wins.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in it. Any dispute goes before the courts of Ontario.
These terms can change. The version that applies to your order is the one posted when I confirmed it. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
