NDL Studios is a sole operator business based in Aurora, Ontario, Canada. This policy explains what personal information the site collects, why it is collected, and what happens to it. It follows the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, the federal privacy law that applies to commercial activity in Ontario.
The only place this site collects personal information is the order form on the Tapcards page. When you submit it, you give some or all of the following:
Nothing else is collected. There are no analytics, no advertising pixels, no tracking scripts, and no cookies set by this site.
To answer your enquiry, quote your order, find the correct Google listing, program your card, and arrange delivery or pickup. Your information is not used for anything else without asking you first.
The form is delivered by Web3Forms, a third party form service. Your submission passes through their servers on the way to my email inbox. Web3Forms handles the message in transit and may hold a copy on their systems under their own privacy terms. My email is hosted by a commercial email provider. Both providers may store data outside Canada, which means it can be subject to the laws of the country where the servers sit.
Submitting the form is a request for a quote, not a subscription. I will not add you to a mailing list from that submission. If I ever send you a promotional message, it will identify me, give my contact details, and include a way to unsubscribe, as required by Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation.
Nobody. Your information is not sold, rented, traded, or shared with any other business for their own use. The only outside parties who touch it are the service providers described above, plus a print supplier who receives only what is needed to produce your card, and only if your order requires it. It may also be disclosed if I am legally required to do so.
Order emails and the records behind a completed job are kept for as long as needed to service the order, handle any warranty or reprint, and meet Canadian record keeping and tax obligations, which is generally six years. Enquiries that never turn into an order are deleted once the conversation has clearly ended.
The site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are encrypted in transit. Order records live in a password protected email account. No system is perfect, and no promise of absolute security can honestly be made, but the amount of information collected here is deliberately small.
You can ask me at any time to tell you what personal information I hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, or delete it, subject to any records I am legally required to keep. Email info@ndlstudios.com and I will respond within thirty days.
If you are not satisfied with how a privacy concern was handled, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
This is a business to business service. It is not directed at anyone under the age of majority, and information is not knowingly collected from them.
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will be noted here rather than made quietly.
Questions about privacy go to info@ndlstudios.com.
